On 06/04/2011 the delegation of VRB led by Mr. Nguyen Van Huy, executing General Director to participate the Enterprise Forum of Vietnam and Province of Sverdlovsk (Russian Federation). At the Forum, the Bilateral Cooperation Memorandum has been signed by and between VRB and Bank of Uraltransbank (UTB).

The Cooperation Memorandum between VRB and Bank of Uraltransbank provided that the two bank will cooperate on the setting up the correspondent, credit line exchange, trade finance, operation in the money market, information exchange and other cooperation.

Delegation of the Province of Sverdlovsk led by the Governor Mr. Alexandr Misharin to visit Vietnam from April of 05 to 08, 2011. The forum held by Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), and VCCI. Participating the Forum included representatives of over than 50 enterprises from Province of Sverdlovsk and Ural region of Russia, representatives of Vietnamese authorities as well as of local enterprises.
At the Forum, Vice Minister of MOIT Mr. Nguyen Danh Vinh and the standing Vice Chairman of VCCI Mr. Hoang Van Dzung have highly appreciated the strong development of the recent economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and Russia. Mr. A. S. Misharin has expressed the strengths of Sverdlovsk
– an area which is plentiful of minor and ran the second of Russia in the industrial production. The Governor of Sverdlovsk also expresses the traditional cooperation of the province and calls for the Vietnamese enterprises to expand the investment and trading, to joint the key projects of Sverdlovsk as construction of special economic region ("Titanium Valley"), joint the venture to explore the minors, manufacturing and culturing, hi-tech and competitive projects in Russia and Vietnam as well, trading promotion and other programs.
